☕️ URGENT SECURITY BULLETIN

A 9.2-severity emergency advisory known as PHP2Shell has shaken the internet, putting millions of legacy WordPress sites at immediate risk of automated AI exploitation.

Yesterday, major security blogs were all over the web with an emergency advisory: critical vulnerabilities were disclosed in PHP (the server-side language that underpins around 70% of all websites). These are CVE-2026-109618 and CVE-2026-109619 (commonly referred to as "PHP2Shell"), and the severity has been rated critical at 9.2/10 by the developers.

Ami Luttwak, co-founder of Wiz (a leading security company), described it as "the most severe AI vulnerability that has ever been found". The fact that an AI can exploit this in seconds is the issue. The Dutch and Finnish government ministries (among others) have taken critical infrastructure offline as the patches go out.

‼️ The primary exposure point is WordPress!

Standard WordPress runs on a PHP architecture, so conventional installations are immediately vulnerable to malicious code injection and data compromise unless every layer of the server is patched immediately.

😅 A reason to breathe easier:

Our clients don't have to worry about this at all.

At LV Branding, we've always worked hard not just to develop the solution, but to ensure we use the best, most secure technology for our clients. We build using the very latest, most advanced tech. If you've got a WordPress site with us, you can sleep easy on that front. The critical business data is completely separated from the PHP. That's been the case from day one. We've built our visible front-end interfaces on top of our own secure, proprietary back end.

If your business still uses older, unmanaged WordPress systems that aren't part of our network, now is the time to avoid any last-minute patching and to protect your data.
